John plays guitar, bass and banjo and has played professionally with various jazz bands throughout the Midlands.

He has played and scored music for the Midland Radio Orchestra, local commercial television, various light symphony orchestras, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford Upon Avon and many more but his roots are in jazz.
